Mandy Arola is proudly from Fargo, ND, but has called Nashville home for 12 years. She spent 10+ years working in the music industry before making the transition to technology in 2017.
With over 10 years of marketing experience, she is currently Nashville Software School’s Director of Marketing. She is responsible for all areas of marketing, including B2C, B2B, content marketing (blogs, email, website, social media, etc.), event marketing, advertising, and design of marketing assets.
She is active in Nashville's tech community and regularly attends meetups. She has spoken at local conferences, including Barcamp Nashville in 2017 and Craft Content Nashville in 2018, and is currently seeking new speaking opportunities. This summer she is serving as a blog writer for ProductCamp Nashville.
Mandy is an active member of the American Marketing Association's (AMA) Nashville chapter and currently serves as the Secretary and Chair of the Entertainment & Sports Special Interest Group.
She is a 2015 alumna of Seth Godin's altMBA program, an intensive, month-long leadership and management workshop.
She believes in generosity, integrity, and hard work. Mandy has a passion for innovation, marketing, and the user experience. She loves storytelling and understanding the consumer’s wants and needs. Her strong analytical skills balanced with a love for creativity makes her an asset to any organization. Most importantly, Mandy is always willing to learn and add to her skillset.
When she's not working or giving her time to local professional organizations, you can find her photographing the world or at home with her beloved dog Lola.
